Travel deals – Web resources

Everyone can use a good deal.. especially when you are travelling! Flight & hotel costs can cost all your limbs.. but not if you are savvy enough to use the internet. You can find some sweet deals if you search for them. But, my fingers would start aching entering the travel dates and other search criteria in a dozen travel websites that are out there looking for that sweet price.

That’s when I found Travelzoo and I dig it for these reasons:

  • Super Search is awesome. You enter the search criteria once and you can search travelzoo’s data or other popular sites like expedia, priceline, hotwire, kayak, etc.. No more achy fingers!!
  • Their top 20 deals rocks! They scour hundreds of sites and hand pick 20 deals every week.
  • Newsflash email alerts gives you the latest deals from your location
  • I love the way they try to make the deals come to you via emails even if you are not looking!

While looking up information for this article, I stumbled across a gem of an article on ProBargainHunter.com which is very comprehensive on deals on air tickets: How to buy cheap airline tickets.

Take a few minutes before your purchase that ticket/book a hotel room to easily scour for a nice deal. Make your money go a long way in that trip you have been dreaming about!

Ciao!

Always check out eJabs…and don’t forget to do ad favors…;-)

I have a complex screening process that you must follow before writing anything on your own blog. Please follow it from now on.

    PS…I like your theme.

I’m trying to find a good 3 column theme like this where the 2 thin columns are on the same side. I definitely prefer this style.

I’ve made so many customizations to my site, that it will be a challenge…but shouldn’t be that tough. I’m still looking for “The Perfect Theme”!

    Hi,

Good deal, I bookmarked both of those sites. My kids are getting ready to travel back to the mainland to visit their mom this summer, and with all the airlines shutting down, I need all the help I can get finding inexpensive tickets to/from Hawaii. 🙂

Great post about TravelZoo. When you sign up for their email updates, they tailor the Top 20 to your country and region based on your zip code. Nice service!

There’s some good resources there, I’m looking at doing some travelling myself, so getting some good deals would be very handy.

The cheap airline tickets are always appreciated, are the hotel deals good bargains as well?
