Most of us iPhone fans have been waiting for June 15 to place our iPhone 4 pre-order. But, Apple silently updated their webpage at midnight with the availability of a new redesigned Mac Mini.
Mac mini has to be the unsung hero of the Apple product lineup. And it has received more than a minor hardware spec bump.
Here are some of the things we noted with the new Mac mini
- A new slimmer (1.4 inch) aluminum case we have come to enjoy on the MacBooks.
- Packs a 2.4 or 2.66 Intel Core 2 Duo chip
- No more power brick – power supply is built in!
- HDMI and Mini DisplayPort
- SD card slot
- NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics
- Upto 8GB system memory with an easy to remove bottom panel
- Built-in 802.11n and Bluetooth wireless technology
Mac Mini is also now available with Snow Leopard Server – ideal for small businesses.
Mac Mini prices start at $699 and the one with Snow Leopard Server is $999.
Don’t forget that you could score some nice deals on the older Mac mini models now.
