Avatar (2009) by James Cameron is on its way to surpassing the all-time box office high of his own movie – Titanic. If you have the option, I highly recommend watching it in IMAX 3D – teh effects are stunningly awesome.
The story line isn’t anything new and you could draw parallels to movies like Dances with Wolves but it is the technology that went into making this movie and how surreal everything looks in the film that made my jaw drop for almost 3 hours.
