WordPress has become my favorite hobby and in fact my wife’s potantial business venture. There are excellent resources for WordPress and Hack WordPress run by my friend Kyle Eslick, is one of the most useful ones out there.
Hack WordPress has just turned 1 and the 2000+ RSS subscribers is just a hint at what it has acheived as a milestone in it’s infancy. If you do anything with WordPress, HWP is a site to bookmark.
In celebration of HWP’s 1st birthday, Kyle has unveiled a redesign and I just love the new look. Plus, he has a huge Premium themes giveaway. Here is a list of premium themes you could win:
- 6 Month Developer Subscription – The winner of this prize will receive a 6 month developer subscription to Woo Themes (Courtesy of the Adii and the Woo Themes team)
- 2008 Theme Club Subscription – The winner of this
prize will receive a copy of all themes released by iThemes in 2008,
valued at over $1400.00 (Courtesy of Cory Miller of iThemes) - 3 Revolution Single-Use Licenses – All 3 winners will get their choice of which Revolution theme they want their license to be for. (Courtesy of Brian Gardner of Revolution Themes)
- 5 One Theme Single-Use Licenses – All 5 winners

One Theme (Courtesy of Lee Cooper and Karl Forshaw of One Theme). - 2 Gabfire Single-Use Licenses, 2 Multiple-Use Licenses, and 2 Developer’s Licenses – Winners will have a choice of which of Mehmet’s 3 different themes you would like your license to be for. (Courtesy of Mehmet of Gabfire Themes)

Congratulations, Kyle!
Hi K,
Thanks for your entry and the kind words!
You know, I seem to remember something about a bet and the Wolverines destroying the…..gladiators? Errr, thats right, it was the Spartans! 🙂
All kidding aside, your welcome to write a guest post anytime. Just shoot me an email and I’ll set you up with an account.
Keep up the good work on your iPhone site. I have the iTouch, but I still find the content useful 😀

Thanks for the heads up! I didn’t even know about this blog, so I’ll definitely have to check it out. And I’m always game for a good contest. Of course, I never win.

Kyle, sorry for the late reply. I do remember that bet too.. 🙂 I do owe you one. I’ll definitely take you up on the offer once some stuff settles down a little for me. Love WordPress & HWP too much to pass up on it.
Thanks for the kind words on the iPhone site. My wife runs it for the most part and I do throw in an article here and there. And I do the social media part for it. 🙂
I did not know about hack wordpress before reading this posts. But over 2000 subscibers is very impressive. Just checked out the site and it defintely goes in the wordpress bookmark folder.
Could always use more and better themes, so i guess I will enter the contest
Best Peter
HackWordpress made good use of a certain time period from their launch to present a new event. This is a beneficial idea as one can create a “one-month” event or “half-year” event for viewers to take part in.
