Access GodMode Windows 7 Hidden Actions Folder

Windows 7 experts  A Microsoft MVP had uncovered this trick in Vista and this trick works in Windows 7 as well. (Thanks @nirmaltv)

An uber-cool Windows 7 Actions folder that is hidden from plain view. It is even called the Godmode!

This Action folder consists of shortcuts to just about every settings change and administrative function in Windows 7 in one place!

It is kind of an aggregate view of the Action Center, Backup and restore, Autorun, Desktop Gadgets, Devices and Printers, etc.

Here is how to access this hidden Windows 7 folder

  • Create a folder anywhere and name it GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}

That’s it!

Well, actually you could put anything inplace of the word GodMode and it will still work.

Hope you enjoyed this tip and you can check out more Tips & Tricks here.

    I love windows 7 god mode. It makes tweaking in your desktop much easier and more accessible. Now, making changes in your desktop no longer needs accessing control panel. You can do it by using God mode in one folder
